Klaara-Manni's cooking workshop "We make it ourselves, we eat it ourselves!"

In Klaara-Manni's kitchen, we will prepare a meal mainly from our own organic ingredients, including vegetables, berries, and herbs. We make our own jams, juices and preserves, ensuring a fresh and local dining experience!

In our cooking workshop "We make it ourselves, we eat it ourselves", Estonian dishes are prepared following grandmothers' recipes. The company and joy of working together add a special touch to the dishes, resulting in a 3-course meal. We also take into account dietary preferences, so both meat-eaters and those who prefer vegetarian or vegan food can enjoy their meals.

We will set the table, enjoy the food we've made, and share local stories!

Learn how to make stick bread in Soomaa National Park, at Klaara-Manni Holiday Village. It's a genuinely fun experience that brings people together and awakens the childlike joy within.

Everyone can choose whether to make a sweet or savory pastry, and those who wish can make both — and as much as their heart desires! All that is left is to wrap the dough around a campfire stick and bake it to perfection amidst campfire smoke and laughter. We offer warm mulled wine and nuts on the side – simple but perfect flavors that create a cozy atmosphere.

A shared campfire evening fosters a warm bond with family and colleagues, highlighting the joy of shared experiences. The crisp winter air adds freshness to daily routines and provides an opportunity to enjoy nature outside of everyday life. While baking campfire pastries, you can sled on the cellar hill in the yard, take a short walk on the forest trail, or even have a playful snowball fight.

We invite you to unleash your childishness and playfulness in this workshop – because sometimes the best way to unwind is to laugh together, bake, and savor the moment.

Klaara-Manni Holiday Center's origins lie in the garden. We grow and preserve vegetables, berries, and other products for our kitchen that we grow on our farm at the edge of Soomaa National Park

We invite you to our cellar! It's like taking a small step back in time as we combine old-time food preservation wisdom and modern food culture.

The jars on our shelves contain stories from summer, the forest, and our own garden. We discuss how we grow and enhance our raw materials, how our recipes are developed, and why we believe sustainability begins in the kitchen. We respect nature and give each harvest a new life – sometimes as jam, sometimes as marinade, sometimes as tea or a spice mix.

During the workshop, we select various preserves from the cellar to taste alongside fresh, homemade baked goods. We will also prepare a smoothie using fresh berries, mint leaves, or products from the cellar or from the greenhouse — it depends on the season.

This tour is a genuine educational experience that prompts you to consider the value of local food, accompanied by the added joy of preparing it yourself!

Come with the whole family!

Cook together in Soomaa National Park, at Klaara-Manni Holiday Center!

In this cooking workshop, a delicious winter dessert is prepared, suitable for either a festive party or a cozy evening at home. In the kitchen, we combine tradition with a modern approach and local ingredients, creating a sweet dish that is simple, flavorful, and inspiring.

During the workshop, we experiment with different seasonal flavors, such as caramelized apples, berry sauces, curd creams, jar treats, spices with a herbal touch — anything that brings warmth to the winter season. Each participant will receive tips on creating desserts that delight both the eye and the palate, and on enhancing their home menu with small changes.

This is a pleasant and creative group cooking experience, which is perfect for teams, friends, or families to enrich a shared evening.

The main course of the menu can be chosen from Klaara-Manni's seasonal offerings!

Dessert is not just about good flavors – it's a moment to slow down, converse, and bask in a warm atmosphere!
