Haabjakoda dugout canoe trips in Tori

Discover pristine nature and Estonian legends from a completely new perspective! Haabjakoda invites you to an unforgettable water adventure on the banks of the Pärnu River, where an authentic, UNESCO-listed one-log boat, known as a haabjas, awaits you. Here you can rent a genuine haabjas and enjoy a peaceful one-hour ride on the river.

Navigating with a haabjas is similar to canoeing and is perfect for everyone – we provide paddles, life jackets, and thorough safety instructions.

During the trip, you will see the most beautiful views of the area:

  • Historical memorial church — Right across from Haabjakoda stands Estonian Soldiers' Memorial Church, also known as a beloved concert venue.
  • Mystical Tori Hell cave — rowing a hundred meters upstream from the bridge, you reach the mighty Devon sandstone cliff of the Pärnu River. Inside it lies a mysterious cave entrance, about which many legends are told.

Enhance your holiday with a true cultural heritage experience! Come and experience a haabjas ride and explore the legends of the Tori River yourself!
